PCN 762
1964 AEC Routemaster
Park Royal H41/31F
New to Northern General Transport, Gateshead, England, registered RCN 699, with fleet number 2099.

After service with Northern, it passed to Stevensons, Derby then onto Stagecoach in Scotland, originally just for spares after a front end accident. Stagecoach repaired it and returned it to service, where it lost its' original registration.
After withdrawal by Stagecoach, it was bought by the managing director of Go North East, the current name for Northern General Transport and returned home . On his untimely passing, it passed into the care of the North East Bus Preservation Trust who, in turn, have loaned it back to Northern. In order to increase capacity on services around busy times during this pandemic, 2099 has returned to public service, albeit currently planned for one journey morning and afternoon between Chester le Street and Newcastle upon Tyne on service 21.

Photographed at Hetton-le-Hole, County Durham, England on 26th October 2008.

TME 134M, a 1974 AEC Reliance, fitted with a Plaxton Elite C34C body. New to Glenton Tours, London, with the by then unusual centre entrance. Inside the entrance door, to the left, was a wardrobe for passengers' coats! When withdrawn, quite a few of these coaches headed to Scotland, where they were used on contract to Glenton Tours for their Scottish tours, the Glentons coach taking the passengers to the hotel in Scotland, then returning with the previous group south. By using former Glenton coaches on these tours, it meant that passengers kept the same seats on the coach, the livery being the only difference.

TME 134M is seen here in Whitby, North Yorkshire, whilst in preservation, on Sunday 22nd April 2007. Subsequently sold for further preservation, but then scrapped.
