This appears to have quite an interesting career! Rebuilt (possibly from a single deck vehicle) in 1961 and fitted with an Alexander body, H35/32R by the Scottish operator, Alexander, and allocated fleet number RB245, registration RMS 477, one of 17 such rebuilds. Alexander reclassified it as a Leyland Titan PD3/3C. It is listed in various places as originally being either a Leyland PS1 or an OPS2/1. It did enter preservation in the UK, and was used in Geneva as a homeless shelter and, in later years, a cafe.

At this time, it was owned a Ralph Weibel, Switzerland, who bought it, had it converted in the UK and then driven to Switzerland. In 2006, it was seen carrying the Swiss registration BL 1236.
Returning back to the UK, it was later reported in Texas, USA.

Definitely parked that there!!
RIL 1028 (or F241 TBC as it was registered when new) was "my" coach at this time. A Van Hool Alizee C51Ft bodied Volvo B10M-60, new in 1989.
Built to a basic specification, with single glazed windows, forced air ventilation and a toilet/servery, Scarlet Band Coaches only bought it with the intention of using it on UK tours for 1 year. As can be sen, it was still operating on the Continent at 11 years of age! Quite a reliable workhorse, it could be sent anywhere in Europe without any worries! Unlike modern vehicles, it didn't have a computer controling things!!

Another coach I drove for Scarlet Band Coaches (and quite possibly parked there by me!). YD02 PXT was a DAF engined Bova Futura, new in 2002. This is parked outside Ruedy Hus Restaurant/Guest House (http://www.ruedy-hus.ch/) where the drivers of up to 4 coaches would stay.

I was probably responsible for parking that there! Did many trips to Adelboden with this motor, a 1993 VAN Hool Alizee C48Ft bodied DAF SB3000, working for Jeka Group Holidays, based in the UK & Belgium. Scarlet Band Coaches often had two or three coaches there every week, between July and September, along with up to 10 other coaches from different operators.
