OTV 178 1954 AEC Regent III Park Royal H30/26R Nottingham City Transport 178 Withdrawn in 1968 and sold along with sister vehicle OTV 179 to Limmer & Trinidad Lake Asphalt Company Limited for conversion to tar boiler lorries, passing to Tarmac, then to the East London Traction Society by April 1980 for preservation. This vehicle has had a longer life as a lorry than it's 14 years as a bus carrying various bodies, livestock transporter, flatbed and currently a beavertail recovery bed. AFB 586V 1980 Bristol LH6L ECW B43F Bristol Omnibus Company 455. One of the last Bristol LHs produced, this new to Bristol Omnibus was eventually converted into a mobile home. Bought by its' current owner, who has returned it to a bus. A much travelled bus, the owner now has the bus on holiday in Brighton, a round trip of 640 miles/1020kms! Picture taken in Shildon, County Durham, England on 28th July 2013 at a vintage bus show at Locomotion Railway Museum.

PCN 762 1964 AEC Routemaster Park Royal H41/31F New to Northern General Transport, Gateshead, England, registered RCN 699, with fleet number 2099. After service with Northern, it passed to Stevensons, Derby then onto Stagecoach in Scotland, originally just for spares after a front end accident. Stagecoach repaired it and returned it to service, where it lost its' original registration. After withdrawal by Stagecoach, it was bought by the managing director of Go North East, the current name for Northern General Transport and returned home . On his untimely passing, it passed into the care of the North East Bus Preservation Trust who, in turn, have loaned it back to Northern. In order to increase capacity on services around busy times during this pandemic, 2099 has returned to public service, albeit currently planned for one journey morning and afternoon between Chester le Street and Newcastle upon Tyne on service 21.
